Approximately 20 individuals, including faculty, scientists, researchers and business leaders convened at Pacific Northwest National Laboratories for the healthcare and biotechnology roundtable session.  These individuals, representing healthcare and biotechnology from our region's higher education institutions, private and public sector convened to discuss collaborative project and application ideas.  The brainstorm session generated over 75 ideas covering the spectrum of e-learning, research, technology transfer and commercialization.

Inland Northwest Health Services (INHS) facilitated the session, and demonstrated state-of-the-art technology from InTouch Health that provides remote presence interaction between physicians and patients.  This demonstration provided a foundation for the remainder of the brainstorming session.
